Tarian Cekuh is a creative dance which is believed to have originated from Dabus, one of the traditional dance from Perak, Malaysia. The dance portrays the charismatic female warrior and exhibiting traits of intelligence, skillfulness and heroism. Cucuk sanggul (hairpin) is one of the accessory piece to complete the hairstyling as well as a weapon used for self defense in a life-threating situation.
