Nate Champion Stadium (15K) but I can ONLY use Fairy Type Sync Pairs - Pokémon Masters EX

Описание к видео Nate Champion Stadium (15K) but I can ONLY use Fairy Type Sync Pairs - Pokémon Masters EX

I spent a full pity on the SS Wally and Bede banner during the High Score Event we're doing this now.

This has the opposite rule to my off-type Pasio Special Stadium runs. I must only use Fairy-type Sync Pairs. A Pokemon might be Fairy-type in the main series but not Fairy-type here. Other than that, should be quite easy. If anything this one was a challenge to make interesting.

TIMESTAMPS:
0:00 Laverre Towncore
2:35 000 Brainpower
4:00 Leftover Easter Eggs
6:37 Who's Confusing Now?
8:53 The Shinest Nuke

Round 1: Drasna
Parameter: Physical shield
The forbidden Catherine showcase with Valerie too?! Penny is doing some heavy lifting here. A long buffing + debuffing process in order to make real progress here. Catherine's nuke can hit like a truck once maxxed but living the sides after is another story for her. Valerie is the worst damage dealer I could use, sorry Summer Lyra you're just that bad, don't really like you either BP Valerie. Penny faints to too many Physical attacks, had to use Adrenaline because the Sync Cycle is kinda messy like this and the AOEs mean we really want Health Regeneration. Glad I pulled off the 2/3 Furisode showcase at least.

Round 2: Bruno (Johto)
Parameter: Special Attacks boosted
Silly Aether Sibling clear, really mostly down to SS Gladion clearing it like a boss by himself. He does really enjoy the Alola Spirit boosts for his damage output, also the accuracy fix for Fluer Cannon and the general stat drops on the enemy side from Lodge Lillie. Not really much to say here, Alola Gun go brrrrrr.

Round 3: Hala
Parameter: Stat drops on faint
We really out here with the "doubles" idea today. Summer Marnie is an interesting unit to look back on, released before Dynamax so she a coverage move, weak to her own type so she barely got a chance to be used in the High Score event, wasting the character's ace on a Seasonal, yeah I bet they regret this one. As for our Egg Companions, Burgh and Volo generate a lot of gauge to fix Marnie's gauge issues, both also boost Marnie's stats a lot, raising everything but evasion for a powerful innate Rising Tide nuke. This team's Fairy Zone usage is bad, not only does Volo eat into his own Zone's timer but Burgh does too unless he uses a Trainer Action. It's enough just for this clear, Grimmsnarl can still hit very hard for what it's worth 3 years later. Volo's a fun unit he'll probably end up being used in the Cheren CS video later this month.

Round 4: Sidney
Parameter: Stat Drops Boosted
At least there's one Fairy Rival who seems to like me a fair bit. Idea here was to let Bede do his thing with minimal Support and to abuse stat drops to the fullest extent. Bede's seen as an enabler (which he is) but he can still do fine by himself with enough investment. The stage has Lessen Confusion 5 so Bede is pretty much made for it. Chose Sycamore to tank since I allocated my other good tanks to the other stages, Lodge Leaf is pretty much filler, she's kinda meh but does still contribute gauge I guess. Perams were a bit hard to choose here as Sycamore really needed all the health he could get from Horn Leech, even then Max Countdown 2 saved the day, definitely enjoying Bede more now that he's invested proper.

Round 5: Nate
Parameter: Faster Gauge + Special Attacks Up
Channeling my inner SkippingMud. This was a team I used in the High Score event, it's quite bulky and benefitted a lot from SS Wally's EX Role as well as the surprise 4/5 SS Mina I pulled from Mix. It allows for comfortable nukes under Fairy Zone too. My goal here was to land a big numbers nuke against Nate, easier said then done. Nate's side is loaded with powerful attacks so some item turns were warranted. Actually hitting Nate was an issue too, I could've used base Lillie here, oh well. I lost a few runs because B-Dazzling Gleam missed. The biggest hurdle however for this clear was doing the full set-up where it goes into Wally, SS Mina, Wally. Sometimes the first nuke was almost enough to take down Nate early! So I switched tatics, which meant Mina had to take more attacks. There was a time where I lost from Nate's Sync going off, even at +6 defences this guy can mop the floor with you. Be worried for when you find this stage in rally next month. That nuke was satisfactory once pulled off though. Now to think of other ways to use SS Wally in the future.
