This video demonstrates the INPUT command in a Breevy abbreviation script. This is helpful for when you have a variable within a commonly typed sentence that is otherwise not prone to change.

The scripts I used today:
newf (I trigger this with a word-ending character):
The patient is a %(input Type AGE and press TAB) year-old white female who is in today to establish care. Her chief complaint is

newf2 (this was just an example of using the same variable twice and only having to enter it once):
%(input name) is a %(input Type AGE and press TAB) year-old white female who was in today to establish care. It was very nice to meet %(input name).

roids (this was just an example of invoking the #patientfirstname macro within Atlas MD in your Breevy script--you can probably shorten the delay time a bit depending on internet speed etc):
#patientfirstname%(delay 2500ms)%(key enter)is here today to discuss a case of raging hemorrhoids that has been a bother for %(input How many Days? Then press TAB) days.
