This week we are going to be discussing reading, and not just reading, but how reading can help you with your writing. In his book ‘On Writing’ Steven King says ““If you want to be a writer, you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot. There’s no way around these two things that I’m aware of, no shortcut.”. If you don’t read, you will have a very hard time being a writer, it’s just the truth of it. While you may read a lot, you may not understand why or what good it’s doing. These next 5 things I am going to share will explain why it’s good for you to read as a writer and how it can help you improve. With that being said, lets get into it.
