Skiing Colorado Backcountry in Summer: Rollins Pass - Skyscraper Glacier - August 2017

Summer Backcountry skiing in Colorado. Outside of Winter Park we headed towards the continental divide, Rollins Pass west side. From there we hiked about 2 miles to the top of Skyscraper glacier. The snow was starting to soften around 11 and the turns were great! Everyone should go skiing in August! I am not going to lie thought, the snow is starting to thin out a bit, I am worried the 2017 ski season might be about half way over :) Good thing the 2018 ski season already started too.
