In Cape Town, South Africa, a dedicated group of musicians worked quietly and tirelessly for years, through periods of great personal trials and isolation, to bring a very special night of music to the stage.

After three years of silence, sickness and stasis, on the 18th of June 2023, at the Masque Theatre in Muizenberg, Cape Town, we performed our very first live show to an audience of friends, family and fellow musicians in the Cape Town metal scene.

We had all gathered to celebrate the music of @katatoniaband , which has been a source of solace and inspiration for all of us over the last ten years and beyond.

In this video, we perform "Day and Then the Shade" from Katatonia's landmark album, "Night Is The New Day".
