The Suzuki Swift is, in our opinion, one of the most underrated small cars on sale. The latest model, launched in 2024, aims to take over where the Ford Fiesta left off, by being a small and affordable car for those who don't want or need an SUV.

It uses a three-cylinder petrol engine with mild hybrid technology to offer a sensible blend of performance and fuel economy, helped by most models weighing comfortably less than 1,000kg.
