The Grand Vitara offers a strong-hybrid, CNG and the simplest is the petrol-mild hybrid options – let's look at the three options available with this engine.

First – the most affordable option! The 1.5 litre 4-cylinder engine – is the same as in the Brezza and Ertiga too. In its simplest form it is available with a 5-speed manual. The mild hybrid system helps to make driving in the city smoother and more efficient too.

Second, rough-road use– for Rs 1.5 Lakh more than the manual you get the electronically controlled 4x4 system. It offers four modes to adapt to be able to travel on broken roads, slush or snow with confidence.

Third, if you don't care to go off-road then for a similar bump up in price – you can opt for the six-speed automatic.
