Problem Statement

To perform the modal analysis of rubber sheet cutting machine and find out its natural frequency, mode shapes and mass participation factors.

Assumptions:

Linear alloy steel material properties are
considered.

The Motor and top mountings weight are idealized using mass elements and are applied at the center of gravity.

Mass of motor is 16 kg and center of gravity is (X:-93.18mm, Y:8.67 mm, Z:529 mm) Mass of slitter machine top mountings is 40 kg and center of gravity is (X:-14.37mm, Y: 132.62mm & Z: 962.69mm)
