Welcome to an epic and brutal challenge in Total War: Pharaoh Dynasties as I take on the fan-voted "THIS IS TOTAL WAR" campaign playing as Assyria! In this campaign, I will declare war on every faction from turn 1 and every new faction discovered—no alliances, no mercy. This is going to be an extremely difficult and intense journey as I lead the Assyrian empire, a minor faction in Mesopotamia, through the chaos of relentless warfare.

About Assyria - The Relentless Conquerors:
Nestled in the northern reaches of Mesopotamia, between the waters of the Tigris and Euphrates, lies the aggressively ambitious empire of Assyria. Once feared for its ruthless campaigns and advanced military technologies, Assyria's thirst for conquest has driven it to the brink. Now, with the currency of conquest depleted, it’s time to reclaim our place as the dominant force in Mesopotamia, but this time, under the most extreme conditions.

Strengths and Weaknesses Unique to Assyria:

Starting Territory: Assyria begins with 6 regions strategically located between the Tigris and Euphrates, providing a strong foundation but also making us a target for neighboring factions.

Starting Economy: We start with all five resources and an abundance of food, giving us the means to sustain our war efforts, but the challenge will be in defending our lands and resources.

Starting Diplomacy: We’re surrounded by potential enemies:
Close by: Akkadians - diplomatic and traders, likely to be our first targets.
North: Urartu - defensive and reliable, but they'll soon be at war with us too.

Gameplay Strategy - THIS IS TOTAL WAR:
In this playthrough, there’s no room for diplomacy or peace. We’ll focus on leveraging Assyria’s strengths—military technology, siege tactics, and abundant resources—to wage war on all fronts. Every move counts as we expand aggressively, defend our territories, and push our enemies to their limits.

Key Objectives:

Unite Mesopotamia:
Use our starting advantage as the Ruling King of the Universe to launch rapid expansions and bring all of Mesopotamia under Assyrian control.

Maximize Military Power:
Take advantage of our Cult Center and Grand Temple to boost our economy and morale, enabling us to field powerful armies.

Survive and Conquer:
With every faction at war with us, survival will require strategic thinking, efficient use of resources, and relentless offense.
