This tutorial describes the steps to create an Oracle 12c Physical Standby database.
The tutorial was implemented using Oracle VirtualBox version 5 and an appliance with Oracle Database

12c Release 1 installed on Linux 6 with Automatic Storage Management (ASM) instance
