Where do I go next? It's a question many of us face, especially when passions shift over time. As a 15 year old overthinker and former student council president, Aiman Shaffar grappled with this uncertainty, often wondering about his future. Inspired by Forrest Gump’s adventurous spirit, Aiman Shaffar learned to embrace new experiences despite the fear of failure. By viewing life as a series of lakes, each representing different activities, he discovered that exploring these lakes, even if it means failing to catch fish, leads to growth and unexpected opportunities. Join Aiman Shaffar as he shares his journey of trying new things and finding his true calling. TEDxAvicena Cinere School is a TEDx Youth event that brings together young minds, passionate thinkers, and inspiring speakers to share ideas worth spreading. The event involves synergy among teachers, staff, students, and speakers, with the support of the school and sponsors. TEDxAvicena Cinere School celebrates the brilliance and potential of the next generation. Join us for an unforgettable experience that empowers, educates, and inspires youth to shape the future. Aiman Zaki Shaffar is a 15-year-old, 9th grade student at Avicenna Cinere Junior High School. Coming from a family of educators and trainers, he enjoys learning, talking to people of many different backgrounds, and sharing his insights with family and friends. As the former Student Council President, he spearheaded the making of Avicup, the school's flagship event. His positive energy also made him the school’s go-to host, moderator, and presenter for a spectrum of events, including one where he captivated audiences from 16 different countries all across the globe.

Where do I go next? What do I do next? These questions echo in the minds of many, including Aiman Saffar. Using an uncomplicated, and let's say 'natural' point of view, join him on a journey of self-discovery and exploration as he navigates through the unknown terrain we call life. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
