*HEAVILY INVOLVED OFFICE BUILDING - 5TH ALARM ROSLYN, NY

At 5:50pm on 2/4/23 the Roslyn FD was alerted for a fire in a office building at 1025 Northern Blvd. Chief 5900 was first due and had smoke showing from the 3 side of the building and transmitted a working fire. First due companies tried to make a push but were met with intense Fire conditions with fire from floor to ceiling. A 2nd alarm was transmitted and shortly after the chief pulled all members out of the building and transitioned to an exterior operation. 5 tower ladders were put into operation. The fire started to darken down but there was a shift in the wind and conditions quickly deteriorated again. The fire had extended all the way from the 3 side of the building to the 1 side. There was companies operating from numerous departments.

5:55 - Fire out 8 windows

8:30 - TL582 goes into operation

12:03 - Elevated shot of fire through the roof

22:33 - Wind picks up and conditions worsen on the 4 side

25:22 - TL582 operating in 0 visibility

32:02 - 2nd floor collapses on exposure 1 side

34:44 - Fire out the windows on the top floor of the exposure 1 side
