This week we are looking for music to drive to. Lots of ways to interpret this, long drives in the open country, winding roads, the windows down and a chance to unwind. Maybe it's a song you'd like to hear whilst stuck in a traffic jam, or travelling back home after a long day at work. Maybe it's high speed chase with the pedal metal. Focus on groove and movement to bring that sense of driving to your jam.

About the production:
Another fairly fast one, I think roughly 3 hours work including all the boring stuff.
Drums are Battery 4, the 303 bassline is Acid-V, rest (including the metal tom esque sound) is U-He Hive2. Coldfire, Q3, and Barricade 4 does a decent mastering chain.
I had a fairly clear vision for the general direction I wanted to take. Most of the time was spent finding/shaping the right sounds, making them fit together, most of all in time, getting the timing and groove just right.
The big hurdle was the performance video. It was my intention from the start to merge it with the video of driving through the forest and countryside. But Microsuck took it upon itself to corrupt the file, offer to "repair" it, and then overwrite it with a copy of a completely different file. Being late monday as usual, I was out of time for a redo, and ended up having to just use the driving video. Rather frustrating, when I had a different, overall bit more creative design in mind.
