The "ICONIC" East Walk, Lerderderg, Victoria , Australia

Hi there.
This weeks video is of one of the best known and maybe "Iconic" tracks in Lerderderg, The East Walk. Stories of lost hikers, poor track conditions and impassable waters abound regarding this track. I walk this with the Cowan track end the form the East walk/Cowan Tk 13km loop and back to O'brien's Crossing.
Exploring the track along the way trying to uncover the history of gold mining pioneers in the area in the 1860's. Maybe coming up with a couple of interesting ideas of what the gold mining operations were like.

From 730am to 1:30pm with exploring and a stop to eat and the company of 6 hours of rain it was a really great walk with a difficulty of 3 - 3.5, no more than that.
