Helping Dad Replace The Crank On My Early Rider Belter 16 Trail

We had a small issue with Gavin’s bike. When pedaling there was a spot in the rotation that it would get harder to spin the crank and the belt would squeak. It happened every rotation. When checking/setting the belt tension it was fine in some spots, but too tight in others, it was inconsistent depending on crank location. We took the belt off and watched the front ring spin, it was noticeably off-center which explains the change in tension, and in turn, the noise and inconsistent effort as he pedals. The bike is under warranty but with storefronts closed due to COVID-19, we opted to diagnose the problem ourselves reach out directly to Early Rider with our findings. They 2 day shipped a new crank and hardware from the UK and emailed me a PDF with the torque specs so we could knock this out ourselves.
