The building of the CRL Karanga-a-Hape Station at Mercury Lane

Following a dawn blessing, which lit up Karanga-a-Hape Station's Mercury Lane entrance in a spectacular display, it's a great time to see how our project team achieved this significant milestone.

Since construction works began at Karanga-a-Hape Station in 2019, the neighbourhood has seen the face of Mercury Lane change dramatically. This timelapse shows progress above ground at our Mercury Lane entrance, from excavation of the temporary access shaft in early 2020 – the starting point for platform tunnel works – through to the sky element façade reveal earlier this month, and multiple milestones in between.
