The many markets at the large towns of Switzerland are surely alluring. However, sometimes smaller is better: Go to Einsiedeln and witness a very Christmassy market. As Einsiedeln is the most important center for pilgrimage, you can imagine the market is going to feel not only festive but also very traditionally Christian.
