1. Besan (Gram Flour) – 1 cup
2. Semolina (Sooji) – 1 tablespoon
3. Yogurt (Dahi) – ½ cup
4. Water – ½ cup (as needed to make batter)
5. Ginger-Green Chilli Paste – 1 teaspoon
6. Turmeric Powder – ¼ teaspoon
7. Sugar – 1 teaspoon
8. Salt – As per taste
9. Lemon Juice – 1 tablespoon
10. Baking Soda or Eno Fruit Salt – 1 teaspoon
11. Oil – 1 tablespoon


Tadka (Tempering):

1. Oil – 1 tablespoon
2. Mustard Seeds (Rai) – 1 teaspoon
3. Cumin Seeds (Jeera) – ½ teaspoon
4. Curry Leaves – 8-10 leaves
5. Green Chillies – 2-3 (slit)
6. Sesame Seeds (Til) – 1 teaspoon
7. Asafoetida (Hing) – A pinch
8. Water – 2 tablespoons
9. Sugar – 1 teaspoon


Garnish:

1. Fresh Coriander Leaves – Finely chopped
2. Grated Coconut (optional) – 2 tablespoons
