Sweetens Cove with Hickory Golf Clubs - Course Vlog #24

Описание к видео Sweetens Cove with Hickory Golf Clubs - Course Vlog #24

A shot-by-shot hickory golf course vlog featuring Connecticut hickory golfer Christian Williams playing hickory golf at Sweetens Cove Golf Club in South Pittsburg, TN.

Perennially listed among the best golf courses in the United States, Sweetens Cove opened in 2014 and was the first golf course designed by Rob Collins. Collins, along with design partner Tad King, took a run-down 9-hole golf course named Sequatchie Valley Golf and Country Club and molded the site into one of modern golf architecture's true gems. Inspired by golden-age architecture and a showcase of Collins' visionary design philosophy, Sweetens Cove features massive green complexes with double pins and a variety of tee shot options on every one of its nine, memorable holes. It's "choose-your-own-adventure" golf at its finest and is an absolute joy to play with hickory golf clubs. My playing partner for this round was Matt Downer, who is a traditional old-time musician based in nearby Chattanooga. The song for this course vlog is a traditional tune aptly titled "Sequatchie Valley" that Downer recorded to wax cylinder in 2015. Listen to that song and more of his traditional old-time banjo, fiddle, and guitar music at https://oldtimetraveler.com/
