Meethi Tikyaa
Written Recipe
(Serves 10 to 15)

Ingredients:

1/2 cup Milk
1 cup Sugar
5-6 tablespoons Ghee
2 cups All-Purpose Flour
4 tablespoons Til (Sesame seeds)
4 tablespoons Grated Coconut
1/2 cup Semolina (Suji)
Oil for Frying

Meethi Tikyaa Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 cup Milk

1 cup Sugar

5-6 tablespoons Ghee

2 cups All-Purpose Flour

3 tablespoons Til (Sesame seeds)

4 tablespoons Grated Coconut

1/2 cup Semolina (Suji)

Recipe in English:

1. Prepare the dough:

In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 Cup powdered sugar,1/2 cup semolina (suji), and 4 tablespoons of sesame seeds (til).

-Add 4 tablespoons of grated coconut to the flour mixture.

-Gradually add milk (1/2 cup) and knead into a smooth dough. If needed, you can add a little extra milk.

Let the dough rest for 10-15 minutes.
-Shape the tikyaa:

-After the dough has rested, divide it into small portions and roll them into round balls.

-Flatten each ball with your palms or with a cookie cutter to form small discs (tikyaa).

-Fry the tikyaa:

-Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

Once the oil is hot, carefully fry each tikyaa until they are golden and crispy on both sides. Remove them from the ghee and place them on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

-Serve:
Enjoy this delicious and crispy Meethi Tikyaa with family and friends!
