The iPhone lets you assign a different ringtone and vibration pattern to every contact in your address book. Assigning custom Ringtones and Vibrations to individual contact makes it easy to determine who’s calling before you even see the caller ID, letting you decide to answer the phone or ignore the call.

The iPhone comes pre-loaded with a couple of dozen ringtones and you can make your own also.

Steps :
1. Open "CONTACTS" or "PHONE" App.
2. Tap the Person Name you want to set the custom ringtone for.
3. Tap “EDIT” in the top right corner
4. Scroll down to “RINGTONE” and tap it.
5. Select the Ringtone of your choice, then tap “SAVE”.
6. Repeat for other contacts as desired

Now anytime you get an incoming phone call from the users with custom ringtones set, you’ll know by the sound alone.

Just like you can assign individuals their own text tones using the same steps above. Only select "TEXT TONE" instead of "RINGTONE" when you scroll down in "EDIT" Section.
