Bay Shore LIRR Railfanning Stack #2

Hi guys,
Here is Stack #2 of my railfanning escapades near my apartment complex in Bay Shore, NY. 90% of the videos were taken at the Penataquit Ave. crossing, but I tried to add a little variety and threw Brentwood Rd. and Saxon Ave. into the mix. Most of these videos were shot at night. I’m sorry about that. It was just most convenient for me this weekend. And I had my camera set to 60 fps per second this time so no more glitches with the motion!

You’ll also notice that I film a few engines multiple times, as I am partial to their horns (i.e. DE30AC 413 & 407). I keep trying to get decent horn sequences from these locomotives but just not working out.

SPECIAL SURPRISE: The last clip in this video is Train #42 which had DM30AC 516 leading, which is only one of 2 locomotives that have a K5L horn! My first time getting that type of film on camera so very happy about that.

AWARDS FOR BEST HORN:

1st PLACE (GOLD): DE30AC 412 on Train #6044 (LONG Low-Highs)
2nd PLACE (SILVER): DE30AC 407 on Train #2 (Decent sequence with solid highs)
3rd PLACE (BRONZE): DE30AC 413 on Train #48 (Loud LLA; Decent highs and a nice low-high to finish the sequence off)
