Kerala Gold Scam: The Kerala High Court on Thursday dismissed the anticipatory bail plea submitted by gold smuggling accused Swapna Suresh and co-accused P S Sarith in a case filed by former Minister KT Jaleel. After hearing, the HC dismissed the plea stating that the charges mentioned in the FIR are bailable. Swapna, along with senior politician PC George, was charged with sections 120B (criminal conspiracy) and 153 (provocation with intent to cause riot) of Indian Penal Code after they raised separate allegations over the involvement of Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in the gold smuggling case.

In a sensational disclosure, Swapna Suresh testifies regarding the alleged involvement of CM Pinarayi Vijayan's involvement in the scam. However, Vijayan remains undeterred & claimed that the charges are just a propaganda.
