BERING LIFE: Day on Santorini

Описание к видео BERING LIFE: Day on Santorini

The island of Santorini is located on a caldera, or a large volcanic crater, which formed after a major Minoan eruption in the 17th century BC. We travel through this dormant yet active collapsed mouth of the volcano to this beautiful and popular Mediterranean island known for its breathtaking views and famous Greek hospitality.

Inhabited by 15,500 people, Santorini welcomes about 2 million tourists every year. Visiting it during the winter allows our team to avoid crowds, and our first stop at the industrial quarter in Vlychada village leads us to the Tomato Industrial Museum of D.Nomikos, the Santorini King of tomatoes. We attend the workers’ museum close to a personalized can of tomato pasta.

The Mediterranean sun cooperates with our crew as we head towards the photo shoot - or, actually, two photo shoots. Bering ladies take advantage of the opportunity to pose in gorgeous long dresses in one of the special spots dedicated to beauty photosets in Santorini. B92 Papillon gets her session in the harbor.

Testing white and red wines at the Santorini Wine Museum was a fantastic way to finish the day. We savor the wines and enjoy the long and proud history of the Santorini people and winemaking - with a note of sadness that one day on Santorini was too little, and we must keep moving.
