In this video I want to explain what actually makes a folder become a git repository...

The answer is the hidden .git folder and without that, the folder is just a folder with stuff inside it. With this folder and its powerful contents, that are generated using the 'git init' command, the folder becomes a git repository and can begin to use the power of git's version control.
