This video contains one of our most recent rounds of ballistic testing for the ATE Gen2 Ballistic Helmet. Helmets are selected at random from our current batch and sent to the National Technical Systems NIJ testing laboratories where they undergo a variety of tests. This specific video was filmed in Belcamp, Maryland.

The test you're watching in this video is the RTP/BTD test where the helmet is impacted with 9mm rounds at 1400 (+/- 30) FPS while mounted to a clayform head. After each impact, the helmet is removed and the transient deformation of the helmet is measured on the clayform head.
