Shortwave radio from Tibet in English 6025 kHz on Qodosen DX-286

Quite a clear catch of China Tibet Broadcasting from Lhasa in Tibet, in English. This station is also know as PBS Xizang, or China National Radio 11. There are daily English transmissions between 16:00 and 17:00 UTC.

You can hear the start of the programme "Hello, Xizang" with clear jingles and announcements about the programme and its aim, to spread news and information about Tibet around the world.

The signal comes from a 100 kW transmitter in Lhasa. Received in Johannesburg, South Africa, with a 10 metre long wire antenna on the Qodosen DX-286. The target area of this transmission is Asia. It can be heard on 6026 kHz and 6110 kHz.
