A church where Jesus and the Gospel has been portrayed in aTibetan culture wherein Jesus is a buddhist monk and the church is more like a monastery.
This is a video document of a very special church located at Kalimpong called the "Mary Mother of God Church". This little church, is probably one of the most authentic specimens in the world, wherein the uniqueness in the depiction of Jesus & the gospel is concerned.
Usually when one does a search for unique churches around the world you will find results in relation to architecture.
The entire church is covered in a Tibetan version of the gospel making it one of the most unique churches in the world. And it has a very special connection to the catholic missions into Tibet which lasted for almost 300 years.
