Amnesia: Voyage of Horror, Pt.4 (Final): Should Not Have Done That

Story: 8/10 - A story about a man saving his wife, but does stay true to the horror genre of not having a happy ending.

Environments: 9/10 - I always enjoy outdoor environments and the castle is beautiful. Point lost because the sky in the other world looks badass but can't appreciate it properly because of the boss fight and being forced to look at the portal. I am especially grateful that advanced darkness isn't used to death and dark locations doesn't always drain sanity.

Voice Acting: 5/10 - I hate to trash on voice acting in indie projects, but it was average. I will assume John sounding drunk was intentional in telling his story, and that's assuming he survived the end.

The Monster: 10/10 - It does a good job of making the player feel unsafe and uncomfortable. It looks perfectly creepy and its custom sounds and music are unnerving. I appreciate the monster doesn't turn up everywhere and was used effectively. It keeps the scare factor a lot more fresh.

Overall: 9.5/10 - It's a decent story and the VA could be much better. The environments and the monster are the stars of the show here.
