Breast Cancer Survivor - Natasha

Natasha, a 40 year old school teacher shares her journey as a survivor of breast cancer. A post by Northwest General Hospital on social media about breast cancer awareness caught Natasha's attention and that is when she suspected the disease. By carrying out self-examination and early screening the cancer was diagnosed during the early phase and helped save Natasha's life. Natasha has health professionals from Northwest General Hospital, Khyber Teaching Hospital (‪@MTIKTH‬) and Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital (‪@skmch‬) to thank for her effective and timely diagnosis and treatment against breast cancer without serious consequences.

Doctors worldwide strongly recommend women to carry out self examination and opt for early screening if there is slightest suspicion of breast cancer. Early detection of breast cancer can lead to timely diagnosis and recovery without the prevalence of terminal complications as in the case of Natasha.
