Uno Loop - Sa Võtsid Päikese Kaasa (Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars)

Описание к видео Uno Loop - Sa Võtsid Päikese Kaasa (Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars)

From the 1970 album Marju Kuut & Uno Loop. Composed by Antônio Carlos Jobim and performed by the Leningrad Radio Variety Ensemble (Leningradi Raadio Estraadiorkestri Ansambel, as denoted on the label). A fantastic cover of a bossa nova standard.

Note that this is NOT the same record as the excellent one uploaded by Funked Up East (   • Marju Kuut & Uno Loop (FULL ALBUM, Bo...  ), but is in fact a cut from the identically-titled but earlier album from 1970 (see    • Marju Kuut - Palus pohli punetab  ). This record is thematically all over the place compared to the very Jobim-centric 1971 release, and features one side for each of the two singers in isolation, with no duets.

I do not have a cover for this LP since mine only has a generic Melodiya Riga sleeve, so I have used a picture of the record itself.

P.S. I'm aware the title is not necessarily a correct translation from Estonian, it is just the title of the original song by Jobim. If you know the correct translation, feel free to post about it in the comments or a DM and I'll add it to the description.
