As we have sinned against an eternal God, we deserve an eternal punishment. But God is so incredibly loving, He sent His Son (the Word of God become flesh) to take our place in the punishment we deserved.

When Christ died on the cross, He died as our representative and received God's wrath and punishment for every sin of those who believe in Him. Thus, God was both just and merciful at the same time. Now, we are free from punishment to love God and come home to Him who loves us.

Christ is the Word of God, the Author of Life, the Alpha and the Omega, and our only Savior. When Jesus was raised from the dead, He returned to Heaven to be with the Father until He once more returns to bring judgment upon the world. The only way to receive mercy and eternal life instead of His judgement is to believe Jesus Christ is God, that He died for your sins, and was resurrected to an eternal life that He promises to share with you.
