After a long time far, today I bring a excerpt of the amazing 1984 Dutch dub of Snow White, restored by me ! I tried a lot to remove all the buzz in the audio with two programs, without harming the audio quality (just like in the preview videos). For a long time, I thought that this dub was lost, but many copies were made in the 80's on Betamax and VHS bootleg tapes. The audio avaliable in the tape that I received was taken from the 1987 cinema print of Snow White. Due the Dutch language change a lot and for technical reasons, in July 1984 Disney decided redub the movie. Harrie Geelen was commissioned to make a new translation for the redubbing, he translated the dialogues and the songs and was responsible for the direction. He got two print from the movie, the original version in English and a Dutch version, from 1938, but he didn't check the Dutch one, because he didn't want to do the same texts again, so he translated and adapted everything by himself. The dub premiered in December 20th, 1984 and was partically redubbed in 1994 (for unknown reasons), for the home video release. A special thanks to Ilse ^^

In my opinion, this is the BEST Magic Mirror voice. Hero Muller did a great job and I loved the effect that they put in his voice to sounds very scary. Marlies did a wonderful dub too, she had a powerful and pretty voice, perfect for the Evil Queen and a scary Hag. A shame that both were replaced in 1994...
