First Electric Guitar Build - Semi Hollow Body Kit - May 10, 2024

I’ve been working on this semi- hollow body, ES-335 style electric guitar for about a month now. I got the kit from Stew Mac. Here's the link:

It’s turning out pretty good so far! I’m using ColorTone wipe-on poly with ColorTone orange dye. Here's a link to the color--- Orange!

This video is after about 5 coats of the poly with the dye. After this it’ll take about a dozen coats of the wipe-on poly on top before it can be polished to a glossy shine. For my first effort, I’m pretty proud!!
