It is believed that the blocks were transported from quarries located several kilometers away, and the workers used simple tools and techniques to move and shape the stones.

The interior of the pyramid contains a series of chambers and passages, including the King's Chamber, the Queen's Chamber, and a network of narrow corridors and air shafts. The purpose of these chambers and passages is not entirely clear, but it is believed that they may have been used for religious or funerary purposes.
