“Never say no to a selfie,” #ShawnMendes says as he walks over to a crowd of over hundred of his fans in NYC Today . The Canadian singer told Rolling Stones magazine late last year that he’s got three rules that he always follows: 1) hit the gym every day 2) two vocal lessons per day and 3) never say no to a selfie. His humble and down to earth attitude is just part of the reason why his fans are so dedicated to his music and everything he does, like performing at Saturday Night Live tonight. Fans were camping out since Thursday, hoping to get into the show to see him perform.

Mendes will be performing two songs, one of which will be his latest single, “If I Can’t Have You.” Ahead of his big night, over a hundred of his fans showed up to his hotel to say hello and wish him good luck.
