Chuck Berry - Johnny B. Goode // Improv jam cover

So I'm writing this caption after I uploaded the video, and here's the story. Last week I decided I wanted to cover a Primus song, so I listened to it on repeat, even transcribed it, but I never had a chance to practice it. Between school and all the bands I'm in and churches I play at, PLUS I went to San Diego for a concert last weekend, I didn't get to touch my drums once. I was hoping to bang it all out on Monday, but I got back from San Diego pretty late, and Tuesday me and Jude shot a music video at my house, and that took all night. So I decided that I couldn't do Primus and I'd just do an improv jam Wednesday morning. I had an 8am class, so I was hoping to be home at 9:30. Well, somehow there was an accident on the freeway that completely blocked it off, so I was stuck in traffic for an hour. In the end, I only had an hour to set up, record, edit, mix, and upload. And SOMEHOW, I made it on time to my 12pm class and got the video uploaded on time. So that's my story. I go to great lengths to get these covers done, and today it was definitely one of the more stressful experiences with it. Gotta say though, I actually like how this one turned out despite having almost no time. So as always, enjoy the video!
