London Graveyard Ambience ✟ Brompton Cemetery Dawn Walk

Walking London’s Brompton Cemetery in West Brompton in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea at dawn. Brompton Cemetery is one of Britain’s oldest and most distinguished garden cemeteries, containing over 35,000 gravestones and monuments nestled among the spectacular trees and undergrowth, and is one of the Magnificent Seven cemeteries, opening in 1840 and now managed by The Royal Parks. The cemetery is not the most peaceful due to the continuous aircraft noise due to being close to a Heathrow Airport flight path.

Sights seen include: Brompton Cemetery Chapel, Brompton Cemetery’s Colonnade, Brompton Cemetery’s central roundel, entrance to the Catacombs, Brompton Cemetery’s main avenue, Courtoy Mausoleum (believed by some to be a fully-functioning Victorian time machine), Brompton Cemetery's North Gate, and North Lodge Cafe.
