Visiting Minyon Falls Nightcap National Park in Early Feb 2022, we visited the falls on the way home from Queensland and we are so glad we did. A few weeks later the area was ravaged by flood waters and the park has only just reopened a few days before this video was released.

Minyon Falls are found in Nightcap National park on the northern rivers of NSW. The area offers day hikes to the base of the falls, an easy boardwalk to the top of the falls where you are not only blessed with a birds-eye view of the falls flowing into the valley below but you are also drawn to the distant valley with amazing views going on for miles.

Because we only dropped by on our way we did not venture into the valley, but what we saw was spectacular. Along with views and quick walks at the parking area, you will find an open picnic area, toilets and information boards to help with understanding the area.

Open Status at the time of release:
Minyon Falls Picnic area and lookout open
Minyon Falls picnic area and viewing platform had been re-opened as of Monday 6 June 2022.

Minyon Loop walk remains closed until further notice due to storm damage.
