Our student, Charley, started out at a community college, then transferred to a 4-year university. She's studying for the MCAT right now, but she's feeling that she's lacking in clinical experience, so she's thinking she may need to wait to apply in 2022.

We looked through all the information in her Mappd account and gave our feedback. We discuss:

• How she excelled with her grades throughout college (3.86 cGPA).
• Her activities, which are mostly non-medical at this point.
• Her plan for getting clinical experience with nursing homes.
• Her plan for MCAT prep and timing, after a 490 MCAT diagnostic.
• How to know when you're ready to take the MCAT.
• Why your state residency status matters for med school admissions.
• Can you meet the residency status for multiple states at a time?
• Her plan for getting letters of recommendation.

So, should she apply in 2021 or wait until 2022? Watch to the end to hear our final verdict!
