At daybreak Mladovoe was occupied by units of the Red Army, and at 13:20 the Germans attempted to recapture of the village. Two German armored groups, with the support of infantry and attack aircraft, were moving from the area Sobolevka. One group come from the left flank our troops were in a extremely disadvantageous position. The situation was worsening every minute and two tank platoons of the Red Army were sent to counterattack.
