Описание к видео Tangkhul Naga traditional attire for women - Mekhela sarong and more (TSLD)

"This Mekhela or sarong is named after a person named 'Rose'. She was from our community, she was humiliated by an Indian army officer in 1974, and could not bear the shame, the guilt, and the pain. As a result, she took her own existence. The longnao of our community named this mekehela after her. It was based on a story of shame".

The Tangkhul Shanaolong celebrates its 4th anniversary, Kumpei Kazip in the capital, New Delhi at Connaught Place on 24th June 2017 at Constitution Club.
