this is a chapter from a symphony called "Nineveh" the symphony is about the battle between roman empire and the Sasanians. it was a culmination of the 602-628 last Roman-Iranian war. in the battle, the Sasanians were beaten by romans, but Sasanians also performed really good. especially after the deployment of asbaran troops. The symphony was created by Farya Faraji, he borrowed the music lyrics for the symphony from his other music.

so, where were the asbaran? they were the cavalry troops who formed the backbone of the Sasanian army.
