One of our favourite beach in Melbourne. Visit Melbourne.
Williamstown - is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 11 km (6.8 mi) south-west of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Hobsons Bay local government area.

Williamstown Beach - is located just south of the Williamstown Railway Station. It is also backed by the Esplanade, making it a very accessible beach.

Commonwealth Reserve - is located in Williamstown on the foreshore adjacent to Gem Pier and has great views across the bay to Melbourne.

The Visitor Information Centre is located in Commonwealth Reserve as well as several heritage attractions including the Tide Gauge House, formerly at Point Gellibrand, and the Wilkinson Drinking Fountain.

There are lot of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants nearby in Nelson Place, Douglas Parade and Ferguson Street
