Thunder Queens have been making sludgy feminist-driven songs since they were 9 years old, tearing up stages in Ontario and Quebec. This three-piece grunge punk band has spent their ‘tween years opening for prominent bands like The Dirty Nil, The Beaches, PyPy, La Securite, Status/ Non-Status, Ian Blurton, Metz, and Chastity. Their sound ranges from powerful and melodic rock to the abrasiveness of punk, while their writing focuses on social commentary and self-reflection expressing the frustrations and aspirations of their generation. On the cusp of high school, their debut LP will be released in Spring 2024 on Victory Pool Records with a promise of explosive, feminist, and youthful perspectives that will heal your inner teenager.
