Notes: Relaxed start to Jazz Fest at this historic garden in the French Quartet. The frogs were out and croaking and you can hear them on the recording, They band even starts a jam with the frogs in the second set. I told George on set break that it might be Clarence "Frogman" Henry trying to tell him something and he made an alarmed face and said "I don't want any of that voodoo!".

The audio/mics for set one were close, about 2.5" high and 6 or 7 feet from the band. For the second set I moved them back to where the video camera was on the left side, probably 4 feet high. I moved them back because I thought I might need to leave while they were still playing, but the set turned out to be short. They played a third set but I left to put up a camera for the Chaka Khan Tribute at Toulouse Theater and to get to the Marley Neville Bayou By Bus show.
