Описание к видео The Chicago Academy for the Arts: Looking Forward, Looking Back with Chris Westfall, Class of '84

The Chicago Academy for the Arts is a High School dedicated to helping performers, writers, filmmaker and visual artists to launch their careers. Chris Westfall graduated from the Academy in 1984, and offers his perspective on what the Academy has meant to him, in his career and in his life.

This video is dedicated to the memory of those who are no longer with us. And to the next generation of Chicago artists, innovators and creators.

One of the "Academy Originals", and a part of the second graduating class from the school, Chris Westfall is a business coach, author and keynote speaker. He has appeared on thousands of stages all over the world, and has worked with clients on four continents.

He is a regular contributor to Forbes, the author of four books, including Easier, The NEW Elevator Pitch, and Leadership Language. He has appeared on ABC NEWS, CNN, PBS, the BBC, FOX NEWS, NBC and numerous other media outlets. As a ghostwriter, he has written six books since the pandemic began, one of which was a Wall Street Journal best-seller for a female technology executive.

He and his wife, actress Lisa-Gabrielle Greene, met in a production of The Fantasticks. They have two grown daughters (both of whom attended arts high schools in their native Texas).
