Citizen Promaster Diver One Year Review: Why You Shouldn’t Sleep On This Citizen: 4 Loves And 1 Hate

I bought my Citizen Promaster Diver (BN-0150-28E) last year mainly because it was less than $250 and because it was available for same day shipping on Amazon. However, when I got it, I had no idea why I didn’t get this watch earlier, and why it took so long to finally experience what Citizen has to offer. In a world of Rolex Submariner, Tudor Black Bay, and Omega Seamaster homages, Citizen has created a full fledged ISO certified dive watch that has a uniquely Citizen design aesthetic. On top of that, pretty much all the aspects of the watch have been carefully considered and designed which makes this watch punch way above its weight in terms of value. This is something that has unfortunately been lacking from many of Seiko’s new dive watches.

So in this video, I’m going to get into my 4 loves and 1 hate about the watch that has stood out to me over the past year of wearing the watch. Main thing is that this watch truly surprised me in terms of the overall quality given the sub $250 price. Also the box that it came with was incredible and it really showed me that it is possible to offer a great high quality watch with an awesome unboxing experience for a very competitive price. If you take away only one thing from this video, make sure it’s “don’t sleep on Citizen.”
