Goechala Trek Summit Day ( Day 7 Ep1 ) View Point 1 & Samiti Lake ~ Kanchenjunga in October Bengali

Goechala Trek Summit Day :
We started our journey from Lamuni to Goechala view point 1 at 2 am in night. Every one attached head torch over head and walked on the dark path. It was not easy to reach there. However, we reached in front of Kanchenjunga Peak at 4: 45 O'clock early in the morning before sunrise. It's too much cold there. Temperature near about - 10°C to - 15°C. The view point region was totally covered by thick layer of snow and ice. We hardly spent 45 minutes and enjoyed sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak, Kabru Dome, Kabru North and Kabru South Peak. Then we came down over snow and ice covered way to Samiti Lake. The Samiti Lake is situated in the height of 4,200 m. It is a fresh water lake. This lake provides drinking water to wildlife as well as local people also. After watching beautiful sunrise and famous Samiti Lake we came back to Lamuni. Then we walked to Kokchurang via Thansing in this day.

Goechala Trek Short itinerary:
Day 1: Yuksom (5,670ft) to Sachen (7,150ft), 8 km
Day 2: Sachen to Tshoka (9,700ft) via Bhakim (8,600ft), 7km
Day 3: Tshoka to Dzongri (12,890ft) via Phedang (12,050ft), 10km
Day 4: Acclimation Day At Dzongri, visit to Dzongri Top (13,675ft) and Laxmi Tal
Day 5: Dzongri to Thansing (12,930ft) via Kokchurang (12,100ft), 9km
Day 6: Thansing to Lamuni (13,700ft), 4km
Day 7: Lamuni to Goechala view point 1 & Samiti Lake ~ Back to Lamuni, then Lamuni to Kokchurang, 16 km
Day 8: Kokchurang to Tshoka Via Phedang, 17km
Day 9: Tshoka to Yuksom via Bhakim & Sachen, 16km

Budget: Rs 14,000 (Yuksom To Yuksom)
